HBCAA relies heavily on receiving funds from funding bodies both government and the corporate sectors.  Individuals also donate funds which all helps us to help people.  The funds are used to assist us to provide support to people with a disability who without these funds would be socially and emotionally isolated.  The funds are also used to assist people with a disability with purchasing items that are urgently required for their daily living needs.  The funds are never used for operating or administration expenses – all funds received go directly to the people with a disability in need.

HBCAA is a registered charity and has Deductible Gift Recipient status (DGR) under the Public Benevolent Institution with the Australian Taxation Office.  This means that all donations over $2.00 for our Gift Fund are tax deductible.
