HBCAA - Accomodation

HBCAA supports a number of people within a supported accommodation environment.

 

Each person is supported and encouraged to participate in a range of activities aimed at developing the skills necessary for them to participate within their community and adopt valued roles in the home.

If you would like further information on how to apply for the Adult Lifestyle Support Program, please contact the Manager -  Accommodation or the CEO.  

 

The people being supported by HBCAA take part in a wide and varied range of activities targeting their life skills, including:

        Preparing the shopping list and doing the shopping; 

 

      Preparing meals for the entire household and cleaning up afterwards;

    Maintaining the household to the same community standards as elsewhere; and

 

It’s not all work though, with the people also enjoying a range of activities aimed enjoyment and socialisation, such as:

   Having regular dinners and BBQs with friends dropping over;

   Going out to dinner to the local club with friends;

     Enjoying trips to the beach and fishing together; and

    Just relaxing at home together or with family
